Danbury Fair is proud to partner with Housatonic Valley Cultural Alliance to display the talent of over 50 artists from Greater Danbury in the Business Supports the Arts Juried Art Exhibit. HVCA acts as a network of arts, historical and cultural news, information, a link to regional, state and national resources, a means to increase awareness and provide opportunities to cultivate arts and cultural resources.

Community Partnerships

American Cancer Society

Danbury Fair has a continuing relationship with the American Cancer Society's Southern New England Regional office in Wilton, Connecticut. The New England Regional serves Fairfield and Litchfield counties and works with area hospitals, cancer centers, and health departments throughout Fairfield and Litchfield counties to promote the Society's free patient support programs, cancer prevention education programs, and the Society's round-the-clock cancer information resources.

The Volunteer Center serving Western Connecticut

The Volunteer Center serving Western Connecticut connects people and resources to find creative solutions to community needs through volunteerism. Since 1975, the center provides a single point of contact to mobilize community members, local businesses and non-profits. They are proud to be known as the “go-to” organization for community volunteers and nonprofit agencies. They ensure that volunteers have meaningful experiences and make volunteering a way of life.

Danbury Fair employees are dedicated to helping out in the community and enjoy volunteering time and effort to assist with United Way of Western Connecticut community involvement programs.

Contribution Requests

Each year, Danbury Fair, will contribute a preset amount of funds in the form of Gift Cards, merchandise and use of property to a diverse group of organizations. Hundreds of requests are anticipated each year. Donation recipients may include civil organizations' education programs; food banks; foundations; hospitals and healthcare organizations; youth programs; performing arts and museums and many more. Each request is reviewed carefully, however, not all requests can be granted.
